I have three dogs in my house. Three. To some people that sounds crazy, and I have to admit, on some days, it is crazy. Like when a delivery guy comes to the house and all three of them start barking as if he’s the most dangerous delivery guy on the planet. But as any dog lovers out there know, they are family. Just like kids, they each have their own personalities and preferences. As a matter of fact, the oldest one, is quite a snooty old lady, but more on her in a minute.
I’ve been known to spoil my little fur babies from time to time, and that includes the foods that I choose to feed them. They each have different dietary needs so it’s always been important to find a dog food brand that is healthy and meets their specific needs. Shorty, my biggest dog, needs a large breed food. Vegas, my oldest needs a small breed food that comes in small chunk sizes, because the bigger pieces are too hard for her to eat.
So when my friends from Beneful approached me about the possibilities of my three dogs becoming Beneful ambassadors, I didn’t hesitate to sign them up. (They didn’t actually sign doggie contracts, I promised them payment in extra Beneful treats!) So with that, I would like to introduce you to Beneful‘s newest #FriendsWithBeneful Ambassador Dogs: Vegas, Disco and Shorty!
This is Disco. She’s a lover, not a fighter. She loves everyone. She loves you. Her favorite thing to do is eat. Her second favorite thing to do is to say “Hello!” with a lick of your ankles when you come to visit. She’s a Yorkie and she’s ten years old.
This is Shorty. Shorty is absolutely obsessed with my husband. He was the one that rescued her from the pound and when she first came home, she got very, very sick. My husband nursed her back to health and we all suspect she knows it. She won’t leave his side. Ever. When no one is home, she likes to sleep on all the places she knows she’s not supposed to. Like my bed. Or the couch.
Finally, this is Vegas. She’s the old Queen of the house. She was our first dog and she’s an Italian Greyhound. All she really wants is Shorty to leave her alone so she can find a place in the sun to sleep. She’s 13 and acts like the old lady at the Neiman Marcus cafe that makes the waiter give her 3 different cups of tea until it’s perfect.
