I went to the brand new MD Now Pinecrest location with the Little Made Man to check it out for myself.
On my arrival, I immediately noticed how there was plenty of parking and we were able to walk right up to the reception desk to check in.
The waiting room was spotless. The receptionist was sweet, attentive and ready to check us in. She did a great job of explaining that MD Now accepts all major insurances and doesn’t charge any additional fees which means that you won’t be surprised by a several hundred dollar bill weeks later (like many of the hospital-based urgent cares do.)
We were seen right away. MD Now knows the world doesn’t stop for boo-boos. They understand the need to get back to busy schedules so they strive to keep their visit times to under 45 minutes on average. After checking the Little Made Man’s weight and height, we went to an equally spotless examination room.
This is where we met Dr. Sonia. Dr. Sonia was as sweet as she was pretty. In just a few minutes time, armed with the kindest of smiles, she easily made the Little Made Man comfortable and at ease.
We soon found out that not only was Dr. Sonia a doctor, she was ALSO an airplane pilot! Needless to say, the Little Made Man thought that was one of the coolest things he had ever heard.
When I told Dr. Sonia that my son thought that she was the “Coolest Doctor Ever,” She responded with, “Thank you! Our brain doesn’t have a limit. I hope it inspires him with big big goals for the future.”
WOW. Where’s that little emoji with the hearts in it’s eyes? I want my own Dr. Sonia to keep in my pocket to inspire me! Thank you, Dr. Sonia and MD Now Urgent Care for making our visit simple and quick. We will definitely be back!
