Lucky Treats & A Leprechaun Trap For St. Patrick's Day

I hadn’t originally planned to do a St. Patrick’s Day post, but my blogger in crime @MamasMission said I had to after I posted this picture to Instagram. Anyways, The Little Made Man and I had fun all week preparing for St. Patrick’s Day. He had a homework assignment to make his own Leprechaun Trap, so we went on Pinterest and he was immediately drawn to a trap made of rainbow-colored popsicle sticks. He drew this picture to show exactly how the little leprechaun would get caught.

I stumbled upon this special edition box of Lucky Charms with only green clovers and pots of gold and I couldn’t resist. Spent a little time picking out the marshmallows from the Lucky Charms box to make green clover-shaped Rice Krispies treats. We spent the rest of the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day talking about Leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold. Spending this kind of time with my own little pot of gold reminds me that I’m the lucky one. #LuckyMommy
