CVS Wants to Help America Live Tobacco Free #OneGoodReason

You might recall hearing news back in February that CVS Caremark would stop selling cigarettes and other tobacco products at all CVS/pharmacy stores by October 1, 2014. As of today they are pleased to announce that CVS has officially ended tobacco sales in all CVS/pharmacy locations, one month earlier than expected!

As part of this commitment to health, they are also launching a smoking cessation program to help people kick the habit, with resources and services available at CVS/pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations nationwide. Simultaneously, they are also kicking off the One Good Reason movement today. The heart of this campaign is to join together as a greater community with the greater goal of saying farewell to tobacco. CVS encourages you in sharing your own One Good Reason by posting a few words, a photo and/or a video using the #OneGoodReason hashtag to your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts today to tell the world what your One Good Reason is for saying farewell to tobacco, be it for yourself or a loved one.
