Toy Gift Guide for the Little King: Lincoln Logs Redfield Ranch Toy Set
I sat with the Little Made Man and he started making his list to Santa. The first thing he tells me he wants is a village.
“A village?” I ask.
“Yes. A village. With people. And food. For the people.”
He is very clear that he needs more than one house for the people, because one house would only be one house. He wants a village. “That’s more than one, Mommy.” I am stumped. I really have no idea where in the world I’m going to find a village. There are tons of “doll houses” for girls, which I was thinking he was asking for. But “dream houses” all come in pink. Pink’s not going to work. Now I forgot to mention that the LO thinks he is a king, so as crazy as the request for a village was, I actually kinda knew what he had in mind.
Lucky for me, K’NEX was kind enough to send me a Lincoln Logs Redfield Ranch Toy set. When I pulled it out to do this review, he looked at the photo on the storage barrel (great way to keep everything organized, by the way, K’NEX) and he says, “MOMMY! You got me the village I WANTED!
