Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy Now On DVD

We had a little movie fun over the weekend and watched Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy. I picked up this cute little dress for my niece and some stickers and a sketch pad for her and my son to play with while we were watching:

Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy is great for siblings to watch together. The story revolves around Enchancia Princess sisters, Sofia and Amber. Amber feels slighted when she discovers that Sofia’s amulet has special powers, and the ability to “summon” Disney Princesses if Sofia is in trouble. Jealousy causes Amber to steal Sofia’s magical amulet while Sofia is sleeping. (If you have a sister, haven’t you ever wanted something that your sister had and you didn’t?) Of course, nothing good comes from stealing, and Amber finds herself “cursed.” Part of Amber’s curse is the arrival of Princess Ivy, who threatens to take over the entire Enchancia kingdom.

Not too surprisingly, Princess Rapunzel makes a special appearance. Did you know that Rapunzel is the eighth Disney Princess to appear on the Sofia The First? Here’s some fun Sofia the First trivia about the Disney Princess appearances:
