Basketball season is back! That means it’s time for “Your Miami HEEEAAAAATTTT!” as the HEAT announcer would say. Sure, it’s fun to cheer the HEAT on from home, but there’s nothing like the excitement of watching a Miami HEAT game live at AmericanAirlines Arena.
From the moment you walk into the AmericanAirlines Arena, there’s just something in the air around you. You can’t help but get into energy with everyone around wearing HEAT jerseys and holding giant signs of D-Wade’s head. At the start of the game, the Arena lights go down and the announcer starts naming the players. As Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, Hassan Whiteside, Chris Anderson and the other HEAT superstars make their way onto the basketball floor, everyone is standing up, yelling and cheering. Then there’s that massive flame torch that lights up and you can literally feel the heat on your skin.
Before every game, the HEAT players rally together, pumping themselves up for the game. LET’S GO HEAT!
Celebrity star-spotting at a Miami HEAT game is always fun too. Don’t judge my paparazzi skills, but that’s Miami-raised baseball star Alex Rodriguez (a.k.a A-Rod!) entering the triple A. The DH and I had decided to make a date night out of the night we went and we saw the HEAT vs. Lakers game. In honor of Veteran’s Day, the HEAT players wore special military-inspired uniforms, and they did a special tribute to honor Veterans. 
Family Fun With The HEAT
When we can, we like to take the Little Made Man to the games because he loves going to watch his favorite NBA team. While it’s hard to take him on school nights, weekend games are perfect. A Miami Heat game is a perfectly acceptable place for kids to get their yell on. Let’s Go HEAT!

I’m generally not much of a sports fan, to my 7 brothers chagrin but this would be something interesting that I would love to be able to see. The crowd, the energy, how awesome it would be to be surrounded by so many sports fans who truly love the game. I can’t wait until my little ones get old enough to be able to take them to things like this. I think they’d enjoy it, especially if it meant they could yell without being told to use inside voices.
