Miami Moms, this post is not for you. Because I know YOU have already bought Mother’s Day gifts for your Mom, for your Mother-in-Law, for your sister, who is a new mom, and everyone else on your Mother’s Day gift list. In fact, I’m pretty sure you even have all those pretty presents wrapped up in pretty paper with pretty bows, sitting and waiting to be delivered Sunday morning. That’s why this post is not for you. This post is the one you need to forward to your husbands, your boyfriends (well, I’m assuming that if you have a husband you don’t also have a boyfriend, but maybe I shouldn’t assume?), and your kids that are old enough to go shop for you. Those people. The ones that say, “Oh, Mother’s Day is THIS Sunday?” Don’t roll your eyes at that comment, just send them the link to this post. This is for them. First of all, make the shopping experience easy on yourself. You don’t want to be running all over town. Go to the Falls. You know, the outdoor shopping center with the pretty waterfalls. They have the best selection of stores in town. From Bloomingdales to Origins, to Vera Bradley, the options are endless. Take the kids with you to help you pick out her present, they’ll like being a part of the process and Mom deserves a little time to herself, doesn’t she? Besides, the kids like the waterfalls and you can take them to Cartoon Cuts for a haircut so they look handsome and pretty for Mother’s Day brunch and Mom won’t be ashamed to Instagram them.
